Hello.
This is Rajan Rasaiah.
Rajan has spent the majority of his career working in the voluntary sector, first in the advice and information field, more recently running a community grants programme.
His innovative approach to diversifying service delivery, publicity work
and volunteer recruitment activities in the Citizens Advice service led
to his selection by Michael Young as a founding student of the School
for Social Entrepreneurs.
Grant making provided him with further opportunities to use the written
and spoken word to influence change: including developing social policy
initiatives that have received national media attention, and presenting
good practice seminars at the first European Symposium for Trust and Foundation
Grantmaking.
He is now spending his time in Cornwall mucking about in an apparently
successful attempt to lighten up a bit.
